A stage performance and a roaming act play different roles. A stage focuses attention on one place; a roaming act can create moments of interaction along a guest route. Not every act can work in both formats.
Start with the venue layout. Where do guests arrive? Where can they pause? Is there a suitable stage and viewing area? Discuss audience movement, exits and sound restrictions with the venue team.
A programme can combine a welcome moment with a main performance, but rounds, breaks and performer requirements should be reviewed before the schedule is agreed.
Describe the experience you want when requesting a proposal. This helps the team check the act against your space and audience.
